Ebonyi State Governor suspends 3 Commissioners for improper dressing...

GOVERNOR Martin Elechi of Ebonyi State has suspended three of his commissioners for dressing improperly to a state function.

In a statement issued in Abakaliki, the state capital, at the weekend and signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Dr Onyekachi Eni, the suspension order would be for a period of three months.

It further states that the suspension takes immediate effect.

According to the statement, the affected commissioners include, the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr Ben Igwenyi, his Works and Transport counterpart, Mr Chukwuma Nwandugo, and the Culture and Tourism Commissioner, Chief Hyacinth Ikpor.

The statement further stated that the affected commissioners had been banned from appearing in any state function within the period of the suspension.
