Police parade suspected attackers of Emir of Kano...

KANO State police command, on Monday, paraded seven suspected arrested gunmen who participated in attack on the Emir of Kano, Alhaji (Dr) Ado Bayero, while it declared wanted, another eight persons allegedly involved in the attack.

The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Ibrahim Idris, while speaking with newsmen, said they confessed that they came on motorbike and took strategic positions to attack the emir on the fateful day.

He, however, disclosed that immediately after receiving the call, security operatives were mobilised and the area was cordoned off, while the dead and those injured were evacuated.
