The 55th Grammy Awards take place on February 10 in Los Angeles. Tonight, CBS aired its annual "Grammy Nominations Concert Live" special, revealing the list of contenders.
Frank Ocean was nominated for an impressive six Grammys total, including all of the major categories: Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Best New Artist, and Best Urban Contemporary Album, plus Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and Best Short Form Music Video for "No Church in the Wild" with Jay-Z and Kanye West.
The Black Keys were also nominated for an impressive six Grammys: Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song, Best Rock Album, and Producer of the Year for Dan Auerbach.
For Record of the Year, "Thinking About You" is up against the Black Keys' "Lonely Boy", Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know", Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", fun.'s "We Are Young", and Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger". ("Call Me Maybe" was robbed!)
For Best New Artist, Ocean is up against Alabama Shakes, fun., Hunter Hayes, and the Lumineers.
For Album of the Year, channelORANGE is up against the Black Keys' El Camino, Jack White's Blunderbuss, Mumford & Sons' Babel, and fun.'s Some Nights.
