A lucky Arsenal fan got the chance to meet and greet his heroes in Vietnam after chasing the team bus down for five kilometres.
The supporter in Hanoi ran alongside the branded tour coach, colliding with a lamppost and then a tree and even jumped on a bike as he attempted to keep pace with the police escort.
The players even shouted encouragement at the energetic fan, chanting ‘sign him up’ as he sprinted along dodging traffic.
Eventually the coach pulled over, and manager Arsene Wenger called the ‘running man’ onboard, where he shook hands with all the players before planting a kiss on Mikel Arteta’s cheek.
The Gunners play Vietnam on Wednesday before taking on Nagoya Grampus of Japan a week today.
