Manchester United Replace Fans With TV Cameras At Old Trafford

Manchester United have evicted around 60 loyal season ticket holders from their seats at Old Trafford – in order to replace them with television cameras.

The supporters were told they would not be given their usual seats when they went to renew their season tickets ahead of the new season.

However, it wasn’t clear why until now, with United planning on replacing their seats in the East lower and Stretford End stands with cameras.

Old Trafford already boasts a huge number of camera spots all over the stadium, but United want more spaces for large 3D cameras – to beam matches all over the world in stunning accuracy.

So while the fans might not get to sit where they want, they’ll at least be able to take in the view from their favourite spot on television next term.
