Manchester United Not Offering Wayne Rooney New Deal!!!

Manchester United say they are not planning to hand unsettled striker Wayne Rooney a new contract.

But manager David Moyes has again stressed that the England man, who has been linked with Chelsea and Paris St-Germain, is very much part of his plans for the upcoming season.

Rooney, who has had to leave United's pre-season tour with a hamstring injury, has two years left on his current contract but an extension is not on United's agenda.

Chief executive Ed Woodward said: "No contract renewals are being discussed. I am not sitting down with any player on an extension and there is no trigger date in the diary.

"Would we be afraid to run a contract down? Of course not."

Major role to play

However, Moyes still sees Rooney as a key figure at Old Trafford and said: "I think he's got a major role to play, because we need to get as many goals as we possibly can.

"I think Wayne can play up-top, he can play dropped in. If for any reason we had an injury to Robin (van Persie) we're going to need him and I want to be able to play the two of them.

"It's a chance for me to get Wayne right back to where he was. That's a challenge I want to take on.

"But I've also got to make sure we don't just concentrate on him. Manchester United isn't about Wayne Rooney.

"Manchester United is about the team, the club. What I won't allow is Wayne Rooney to become more important than the football club."

Mutu, a father of two, was so upset by the story he immediately made plans to give the baby a new home.

‘I couldn’t figure out how to live, how to eat breakfast when I saw this story,’ he told Romanian TV. ‘That this child lived means he is a special child. Children are the greatest achievement

‘When I saw the baby I said “I must adopt him, he has been sent to me by God.” I’ve never meditated, but when I saw the baby, I thought it was exceptional.’

Mutu’s kind, if slightly strange, offer materialised as it initially appeared that the baby had been unwanted and flushed down the toilet on purpose.

However, thankfully it has since emerged that the whole thing was a tragic accident and thechild has now been returned to its mother who faces no charges.

Barcelona Confirm 5 Year Deal With Chelsea Target, Neymar

Brazilian star Neymar is set to complete his move to Spanish champions Barcelona, as Chelsea and Manchester City both miss out on the youngster.

The Premier League duo had been trailing the 21-year-old for some time, but it was yesterday confirmed that both Barcelona and Real Madrid had offers accepted by Neymar’s current club Santos.

And Neymar confirmed via Instagram that he had chosen to join Barcelona, but will delay signing his five-year deal until tomorrow to enable him to play in today’s season-opener against Flamengo in order to say goodbye to the Santos fans.

‘I’m here with friends and family and they have helped me to write a few things here. I’m not going to hold out until Monday. My family and friends already know my decision,’ he wrote.

‘On Monday I will sign a contract with Barcelona.’
