AVB was captured on Instagram showing off his pasty chest with arms around the equally topless Jan Vertonghen, Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Mousa Dembele, with the quartet attempting to catch some rays aboard their boat in the Bahamas.

It is not clear whether Spurs decided to jet off on holiday to celebrate their Europa League place or commiserate with each other for missing out to north London rivals Arsenal in the race for the final Champions League spot.

Now Mancini has hit back by personally funding a full-page ‘thank you’ ad in the Manchester Evening News, seeing as his departure prior to the home game against Reading denied him the opportunity of a farewell send-off at the Ethiad.

The FA Cup, Community Shield and Premier League trophies are all pictured before his personal message, which read: ‘Manchester City Supporters: 3 unforgettable years.

‘You will always be in my heart. Ciao. Roberto Mancini.’

Sir Alex Ferguson To Retire At The End Of The Season!!!

Sir Alex Ferguson will step down as Manchester United manager at the end of the season after 26 years in charge.
The Scot, 71, has won 38 trophies since taking over from Ron Atkinson on 6 November 1986, including this season's Premier League title.
His haul includes 13 titles, two Champions League crowns, five FA Cups and four League Cups.
"The decision to retire is one that I have thought a great deal about. It is the right time," Ferguson said.
"It was important to me to leave an organisation in the strongest possible shape and I believe I have done so.
"The quality of this league winning squad, and the balance of ages within it, bodes well for continued success at the highest level whilst the structure of the youth set-up will ensure that the long-term future of the club remains a bright one.

Sir Alex Ferguson spoke of his pride as a bronze statue of the Manchester United manager was unveiled at Old Trafford by his wife Lady Cathy.

The nine-foot statue was commissioned in November 2011 to mark 25 years at the club, when the North Stand was also renamed the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand.

Ex-players and the first-team squad were in attendance in honour of English football's most successful manager.

"It's fantastic, a really proud moment," said Ferguson.

The 70-year-old has been in charge of the Reds for 26 years, winning 27 major trophies including 12 Premier League titles and two Champions Leagues.

Referee Mark Clattenburg cleared by FA but charges Mikel...

The English Football Association has cleared referee Mark Clattenburg of using "inappropriate language" towards Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi.

But Mikel, 25, has been charged by the FA with misconduct following his involvement in the alleged incident.

The Blues had claimed Clattenburg directed racial language at Mikel in their home defeat by Manchester United.

Clattenburg said it was "truly frightening" to have faced the prospect that his career might be over.

Following the match at Stamford Bridge on 28 October, the FA interviewed Clattenburg, Mikel and several other Blues players before reaching a decision.

"It is alleged that in or around the match officials' changing room at the end of the fixture, Mikel used threatening and/or abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour," an FA statement read.

Mikel has until Friday, 30 November to respond to the charge
