I gave Obasanjo N100m for 1999 elections –Kalu

Former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, has said he gave  ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo N100m to run his campaign in 1999.

He said he gave another N100m to the Peoples Democratic Party prior to the 1999 elections.

The former governor said this as ‘Guest of the Week’ on a Kaduna-based Liberty FMradio programme on Saturday.

He said, “I made millions before joining politics. I was doing business between Maiduguri and the East. I carried fish from Maiduguri to the East and palm oil from the East to Maiduguri. So, I had money and invested so much in the PDP.

Amaechi threatens to expose Abuja-based politicians

Rivers State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, has threatened to expose some Abuja-based politicians from the state owing to the crisis currently rocking the Peoples Democratic Party in the state.

Amaechi, who said he was no more running for any political position, added that the people of the state would lose their respect for his critics by the time he opened up on their past deeds.

Amaechi, who spoke when the Archbishop of the Niger Delta Diocese, Anglican Communion, Archbishop Ignatius Kattey, paid him a courtesy visit in Port Harcourt on Wednesday lamented that nobody realised the efforts put in place by his administration to ensure that peace reigned in the state.

He said, “I will speak to the state, but not now. When I speak to the state, you will not respect any of these people (Abuja-based politicians from Rivers). I am now determined to open up.

Chris Brown, Meek Mill Squash Beef... at Strip Club. Lmao

Chris Brown and Meek Mill are officially cool with each other again -- after facing off in that massive brawl between Drake and CB's entourages -- because they smoked the metaphorical peace pipe in Charlotte over the weekend.

The pics were snapped Friday night at Cameo Nightclub -- the same spot where Drake dropped $50,000 on strippers on Saturday.

It's the first time CB and Meek Mill have been seen out together since the melee at W.i.P. nightclub in NYC last June.

You'll recall, witnesses at the club said Meek was one of the main instigators behind the bottle-hurling brawl ... with CB's crew on the receiving end ... but Meek denied getting involved.

We're told CB and Meek shook hands at Cameo and put the beef to rest once and for all.

Still no olive branch from Drake though.

Beef In Jigga/Kanye Paradise?!

Now that Jay Z has found a new muse in Justin Timberlake his old muse, Kanye West, is feeling some kind of way...

Last night during his concert in London Kanye West added a freestyle to his hit song Clique spitting,

"I got love for Hov, but I ain't f--kin' with that 'Suit & Tie.'"

Suit & Tie is Jay Z and Justin Timberlake's new collabo and they just announced a joint Suit & Tie world tour for the summer. Ouch.

But Jay and Justin weren't the only ones in Kanye's crosshairs, he also lashed out at the Grammys saying they could 'suck his d--k!' and ranted about never having won a Grammy against a white person.

Then Yeezy seemed to take a swipe at Beyonce, who just signed a $50 million deal with Pepsi to sponsor her tour, ranting in a mocking voice,

"Can I sell your drink for you, please? So you can help me put on a better show, please, corporations? Can you please support me, please? Me, Kanye West? I swear I’m a nice n---a now. I swear I’ll put the pink Polo back on."

This will not end well.

The moment when Chris Brown dissed Frank Ocean during the Grammys...

here’s what happened: Chris Brown refused to stand and give singer Frank Ocean his props when Ocean won a Grammy for something or other.  Can you blame Brown? The two men recently went toe-to-toe in a recording studio parking lot in LA. So they have no love for each other.

Obasanjo Puts Okorocha On Blast! 'You're A Failure...'

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Saturday in Abeokuta, Ogun State, described Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, as a “failure.”

Obasanjo said this just as the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, likened the current crisis rocking the ruling party as a “surgery” which must bring some pain to members.

Obasanjo who was responding to guests who spoke during the grand finale of a civic reception organised in his honour by the South West Zone of the PDP said there was no way he could associate with Okorocha who had jokingly referred to the former President as his “colleague.”

Sh*t about to get real: Cassidy drops Meek Mill diss 'Me, Myself & iPhone...

Cassidy just wants the respect he deserves. But the way the Philly native is going about it is highly debatable. Last night, the "Hotel" rapper dropped a song called "Me, Myself, & iPhone" that sends blatant shots at Meek Mill and also addresses whether he and Swizz Beatz are still cool and even that "Condom Style" track he dropped last weekend.

For the song's concept, Cass takes a bunch of calls from people asking him questions, in rhyme, and he answers and sets the record straight, in rhyme. To his credit, he lets off some decent enough lines, including, "I raised son, I was around when the clown couldn't even get his braids done" and "I usually don't get mad but I had enough, when he dropped that son 'Amen' that was blasphemous."

Who really cares? Meek Mill did, at least enough to respond, as usual, via the Twitter arena.

"Listening 2 this diss..... Ima say cuz you lost ya mind! U really gone up top mentally ...... I feel sorry for u! Lol," tweeted Meek. "When me and @CASSIDY_LARSINY was locked in the same jail!!! He was on "PC" protective custody .... I was on the "drama block" #difference."

Of course, Cassidy had to respond in kind, via Twitter, when his jail cred was questioned. [sigh] "They automatically put U on PC when U famous & in the newspaper..
But I had pull.. So I got off after the 1st month, did 7 1/2 in population.. FOH," he tweeted.

Meek also said he was now down to battle, but Cass basically said it was too late and to "step them bars up."

Listen to Cassidy's "Me, Myself & iPhone" below, and check out the tweets in the gallery.
